I'm an award winning creative editor, with over 25 years television and film production experience. I live and breath moving image and believe that my lifelong passion for storytelling combined with my in depth knowledge of post production systems and workflows makes me someone you want on your team and involved on your production.

 

Growing up in my family's multi-award winning touring theatre company gave me unique exposure to a huge range range of performances and productions, shaping the person I grew up to be and the passion I have for storytelling. 

 

Early in my career film was still very much a mainstay in the industry and I was fortunate enough to do a lot of my early work on film, moving across to linear editing and then to the wonderful world of non-linear editing, using one of the first Avid systems in the UK. 

 

From that point my love of post and technology grew hand in hand with the art of the edit and continues to grow to this day. I moved onto running a wonderful post facility that's goal was to support new filmmakers with its commercial output and it was there that we installed some of the first Final Cut Pro systems along our Avids. I was also an early adopter of after-effects and with those tools won a lot of commercial and pop promo work, being able to combine effects and craft editing in one place. I currently cut on Avid and grade and finish in resolve.

 

But my true passion is film and drama and I have been fortunate enough over the past 12 years to work almost exclusively in that medium.

 

I am excited as always to see what production I will have the pleasure of working on next and how I will be able to add my voice to the production.
